This original story follows a young Viking warrior, Ayloy, as she travels to the land of the dead in search of her lost lover, Ragnar. After one terrible night where he’s torn from their bed and cast into the land of mist and shadow by a mysterious force, Ayloy must brave unknown perils and confront powerful enemies to bring him back.

Skjaldmaer, Norse for "female warrior," tells of Ayloy, who will risk everything to reunite with her love. At its core, it's a romantic coming-of-age story, as Ayloy navigates a world of sinister motives and boundless underworld darkness.
